Job progress is effectively managed by GS Prod, including internal tasks allocated to each workstation and work that has been sub-contracted. It provides a detailed analysis of production from both a time and cost perspective. And GS RealTime can add up-to-the minute accuracy.
Production Monitoring …
The Workload Table gives you an overview of all open jobs. Task progression is color coded and shows that a job is in preparation, ready, started or completed.
- The forecasted and remaining production time is displayed for internal operations.
- Sub-contracted tasks are monitored with the help of send and return dates.
The Scheduler helps plan the distribution of tasks to each workstation, and can be seamlessly updated by GS RealTime.
Production Control …
Production data can be updated as things change, using workshop terminals or by implementing JDF in GS RealTime.
Shop personnel can easily access the workshop terminals. Graphisoft sends a job to an operator according to the Scheduler. When the job is accepted, the timer starts, and stops when the next task is selected.
